At the congregational meeting, we reviewed our short term options but also
decided we needed to start work on our long range plan. A strategic plan
committee is being assembled for this purpose. We would like to have on this
committee members who are not part of the church council to make sure the views
of the congregation at large are being considered - not just those of the
"insiders". For St Mark to become fully self sustaining, we need to see the
full picture and hear new ideas. If you are not currently a member of the
council of St Mark, please consider accepting the cost and joy of this
